HARVEST

40cm x 40cm - 2010

Acrylic, hair, crystal resin

To reap what has been sown gives space to novelty. The term ‘Harvest‘ has a dual-purpose both in crop-gathering and in grape-picking. Fields are evoked through straw coloured hair, drowned in white wine and flakes of corn. The passing of time and the seasons’ succession are embodied by the dilution of warm colours when summer bequeaths its place to autumn.
