Cigarettes, ashes, tobacco, coffee beans & powder

Jim Jarmusch’s feature film structures eleven black and white short stories which share coffee and cigarettes as a common thread. On canvas cigarettes mingle with their own tobacco and ashes, coalescing with coffee beans and powder. The salacious match intoxicates the senses: caffeine’s hyperactivity tackles nicotine’s relaxation.
